Frequently Asked Questions

What do the kiddos do during a 6 hour period?

We have board games, puzzles, art supplies, toys, books, workbooks, and a lot of recreational options such as, an individual trampoline, skateboard, bouncy balls, softball gear, and a swimming pool for hot days!  In addition, students will also engage in structured carpet time, a reading block, a numbers / math block (so their skills don’t get rusty!), and lunch.

Should I bring food for my child?

Snacks will be available throughout the day. Some examples of snacks are crackers, apple and orange slices, grapes, snack bars, and cheese sticks.  One lunch will be served around 3:30. Lunches will include one entree such as a hotdog, pizza, or peanut butter and jelly sandwich; one fruit, one veggie, and a drink.

Will you prepare special foods for my child who has food allergies?

No, in the case of dietary restrictions, parents must provide their children’s lunch. We can discuss this during the sign up process.

Can you administer medication to my child?

Please do not bring electronic devices to Felida Kiddos. We aim to have kids interact with one another and nature rather than with a device.

Given this is a home environment, will you have your TV set turned on?

No. However, we do plan to show 1 movie per week and we will tell you in advance what movies will be shown. If you have an objection a particular movie on the list, please let me know in advance and we will find one that works. Additionally, once a day we will show an episode of Cosmic Kids and do the exercise.
